Will an eSIM Work on Your Phone?
To switch to Cidmobile, you must have a phone that is eSIM compatible.
If you don’t know, an eSIM is a digital SIM that works like a physical SIM card. The term, “eSIM” stands for “embedded SIM.” Unlike the traditional plastic SIM card, an eSIM does not need to be inserted into your device. Instead, it can be downloaded directly onto your phone and provides the same cellular connection. Similar to a physical SIM card, the eSIM stores the data that enables your device to connect to cellular service and use your plan on the network.

Activating Your Plan
Welcome to Cidmobile! Let’s activate your plan on your eSIM compatible device to start using the service!

Once you’ve bought your new Cidmobile plan, you can follow the step-by-step guide in our online connect portal to activate your eSIM. Simply input your phone’s IMEI number and follow the instructions on your device to add the eSIM. Once added, turn off your phone for one minute, then turn it back on to activate your plan!
What is an IMEI Number?
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a 15-17 digit code that is unique to your device. The easiest way to find your IMEI number is to dial this number: *#06#

Apple Device - Find my IMEI
Your device may contain two IMEIs: IME1 (the physical SIM IMEI) and IME2 (the eSIM IMEI). These can both be found found using the simple steps below:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to General.
- Go to About.
- Scroll down to find your IMEI number.
Samsung & Android - Find my IMEI
Your device may contain two IMEIs: IME1 (the physical SIM IMEI) and IME2 (the eSIM IMEI). These can both be found found using the simple steps below:
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and select About Phone.
- Scroll down to find your IMEI number.

How to Get Your Cidnet Megabyte Credit
As an active Cidmobile user it is now time to receive your Cidnet Data Credit! This is a one-time megabyte credit of free Cidnet Data added to your (or a friend’s) account as a reward for switching your wireless service plan.
Once you’ve activated your Cidmobile plan on your eSIM compatible cell phone, submit the ‘Redeem Cidnet Data’ form.
When we receive your response, our team will verify your information, add the Cidnet Data Credit to your account!
